Secure Online Ordering:

Is ordering online secure?

Yes. We take the utmost care with the information that you provide us when placing an order on our website (or through any other means). The server that hosts our bookstore encrypts the transmission of all credit card and personal customer information using the Internet-standard SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. During the encryption process, information is scrambled into small bits of code that cannot be read as they travel to us over the Internet. Once we receive the encrypted information, we use a private, one-of-a-kind key to decode it.

All of the information you provide during the ordering process is restricted to our staff, and we make sure that all of our employees up-to-date on our security and privacy policies. How do I place my order?

Once you have finished adding items to your shopping cart and are ready to complete your transaction, move your cursor to the upper-right corner of the screen and click on the “Checkout” button. You will then be asked to either login to an existing account, create a new account or place an order without an account.

How do I view what’s in my shopping cart?

To view the contents of your cart, click on the “View cart” icon in the upper-right corner of your computer screen. Once you click on this icon, you can easily change the number of items by updating the quantity listed and then clicking the “Update cart” link. You can also delete any item in your cart by clicking the “Remove” check box to the left of that item and then updating your cart with the “Update cart” link.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Your order will be ready for pick up on the date indicated on your order.  Orders placed for shipping will be processed within 48 business hours.  

How will I know that you have received my order?

After you complete the checkout process, a receipt will appear on your screen detailing your final order including shipping charges, your billing address, and the items that are being sent to your shipping address. Please keep this receipt for your reference.

You will also receive confirmation via e-mail that we have received your order. (Please be sure to enter your e-mail address correctly on the order form so that we can be sure to deliver your confirmation to you.)

What are your payment options?

We accept four types of major credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).

Custom Cake Information:

Our Custom Cakes Include

A beautifully crafted custom cake based on the design determined at the time of your order. Your choice of unique flavors and fillings for each tier. Complimentary placement of cake topper and/or flowers at the time of delivery, if applicable.

How far in advance should I place order for custom cakes?

Custom cake orders typically need to be placed at least 7-14 days in advance depending on the time of year. We highly recommend placing wedding cake orders at least 3 months in advance.

Cake Knife, Servers & Topper

You will need to make arrangement for your cake knives, servers and cake topper. Cake topper may be delivered to the bakery two weeks prior to your wedding or left on the cake table for placement.

Cake Stand Rentals

A variety of stands are available for a rental fee. A deposit is also required in the form of a check or credit card number.

Fresh Flowers

Your florist will need to provide any fresh flowers, but Azucar Bakery will place them on the cake at no additional charge. Your florist is responsible for ensuring the flowers are safe to place on an edible cake. Flowers must arrive on time and be left next to the cake table. If the flowers arrive late and/or you prefer your florist places them on the cake, we are not responsible for any damage to the cake.

Inedible Materials

Inedible materials such as a ribbon, crystals, rhinestones, etc. will be provided by the customer.

Upgrades

Sugar flowers, henna style piping, extra tiers are all available for an upgrade cost.

Cancellations

Cancellations require a minimum of 2 full weeks notice. The deposit remains non-refundable. It can however, be used as credit towards other bakery items. Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled event will receive no refund. No exceptions.
